Older kid to school … wife to work … fed and changed baby … put him down for a nap … inbetween WRITE! WRITE! WRITE!

I stopped about thirty minutes ago (11:00 my time) to write an update, but I opened e-mail and Social Media … no!!!

I “HAD” to respond to a couple issues dealing with a problem with documentary filming permission at an upcoming event and then chose to answer a few other questions related to various projects and writing jobs. I see now where all my writing time goes. I have a problem and like many people JAY WILBURN is my problem.

Aside from the long break, I wrote three thousand words thus far split between my Steampunk Cannibals in Space novel and a Bizarro Crossed-Genre retelling of the Bible. I may be submitting that second piece from Hell based on where it is going so far.

Why am I wasting time here unless you are buying a Jay Wilburn book as a direct result of reading this. The e-copy of TIME EATERS is just .99 right now, if that’s what you’re asking.

Back to work!!! Oh, wait, the baby’s waking up. Fix lunch and then BACK TO WORK!!!

1:30 2000 words on a mad scientist short story puts me at 5000 so far today … Did I mention that it is a Lesbian mad scientist story? 5000 words!!!

5:00 6000 words

9:00 8000 word — I even cheated and reread and edited the beginning of the story to fill out the characters — The Lesbian Mad Scientist story is turning into a beautiful, Southern Gothic tale of love, loss, and forgiveness. I think it is transcending the Lesbian Mad Scientist genre into a literary masterpiece. No offense intended toward Lesbian Mad Scientist writers.
