The Guy that Introduced Me to Zombies

I’d like to thank Jack Wallen for giving me a piece of his corner of the Internet to tell this personal story.

There was a guy that told me a a zombie story in a dorm room in the 1990’s. Eventually I would have a career of writing zombies, drag queens, horror, and music. I miss him and it feels good to tell the story and pass on some of the credit for living my dreams and writing my nightmares.

Jay Wilburn has a Masters Degree in Education that goes mostly unused since he quit teaching to write about zombies. Jay writes horror because he tends to find the light by facing down the darkness. His is doing well following a life saving kidney transplant.
