Hellmouth at MidSouth

The co-authored novel HOLLYWOOD HELLMOUTH will be debuting at MidSouth Con held at the Hilton Memphis March 20 – 22.

All four authors will be there including myself, Jack Wallen, Armand Rosamilia, and Brent Abell. Friday 3/20 8pm
Zombie Apocalypse: What makes or breaks a good zombie story.
All four of us are on this panel with Armand as the moderator, so this will be fun for everyone that survives.

Saturday 3/21 3pm

Creating Realistic Fight Scenes: Panelists will discuss how to choreograph your written fight scenes.
Brent is on this panel with me. As part of the presentation, I will surprise him and beat him about the head and shoulders. Even though I’m warning him ahead of time, I expect him to be so hungover that it will still work.

Jay Wilburn
Jay Wilburn has a Masters Degree in Education that goes mostly unused since he quit teaching to write about zombies. Jay writes horror because he tends to find the light by facing down the darkness. His is doing well following a life saving kidney transplant. Jay is the author of Maidens of Zombie Kingdom a young adult fantasy trilogy, Lake Scatter Wood Tales adventure books for elementary and middle school readers, Vampire Christ a trilogy of political and religious satire, and The Dead Song Legend. He cowrote The Enemy Held Near, Yard Full of Bones, and The Hidden Truth with Armand Rosamilia. You can also find Jay's work in Best Horror of the Year volume 5.
